Ecommerce projects often get difficult in the back office rather than on the homepage. The hard part is what happens after the order: inventory, fulfillment, returns, taxes, and keeping the store in sync with the systems that run the business.

That intersection, where the storefront meets the ERP, the accounting system, and the warehouse, is where I have spent most of my career. The stores I build treat the storefront and the back office as one system.

The storefront side still matters, and it gets full attention: fast pages, clear product presentation, and a checkout that makes buying easy. The larger operational gains are behind the scenes, where orders can flow to fulfillment without someone copying them into another system.

Whether you need a new store, a rescue of an existing one, or custom functionality your platform cannot do out of the box, the approach is the same: start from how your business actually operates and make the store serve it.

I also customize and extend existing Shopify and BigCommerce stores. That can mean adding functionality, connecting another system, or adapting the platform around a workflow it does not handle well.
